Green Mango: just add chili salt, and enjoy!

Half day tour

Wake up hungry!!

Start the day with Baeng Soong, soft noodles served with fried spring rolls and a tangy sauce on top. Try a traditional Khmer coffee, served on ice with condensed milk.

Next we’ll head to walk around the local market, learning about (and tasting) some new fruits, and learning how locals buy their produce and meat.

One we’ve walked off our noodles a bit, we’ll head to a sweet treat, a dessert that is a combination of French and Khmer tastes.

If you still have room, we’ll try a sample platter of Khmer traditional foods, paired with a tasting of local infused alcohols.

Sated and happy, we’ll head back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. Thanks for joining us!

** All tours can be dietary accommodated!

full day tour (with cooking class!)

Bring your best appetite for today’s excursion.

We’ll start with traditional Khmer coffee, served on ice with condensed milk. Try a traditional noodle soup, or the soft noodles known as Baeng Soong. But make sure to save room ! We still have some places to see.

We’ll head to the local market, learning about (and tasting) some new fruits, and learning how locals buy their produce and meat. We’ll also be buying the fresh ingredients we’ll need for our lunch cooking class.

Laden with fresh veggies and other ingredients, we’ll head to our cooking class. Learn the skill Khmer chefs use in preparing food every day. We’ll learn to cook several courses (including a dessert!), and get the recipes to take home, too!

Once we’ve finished cooking, let’s eat! Enjoy our meal, and taste a few locally-produced infused alcohols.

As our afternoon wraps up, ask questions of our chef and learn a bit about the edible plants Khmer chefs have been using for hundreds of years.

Sated and happy, with a new understanding of Khmer culture and cuisine, we’ll head back to the hotel. Thanks for joining us!
